Fire saftey

This week I was creating a poster about fire safety. My favorite part was writing/drawing everything onto the cartridge. My 3 main points about fire safety were, checked your fire alarms, stop, drop and get out and call 111. 

The naming of Te Hapua

For the past few weeks, I have been working on an animation to re-tell the story of how Te Hapua got its name. It was firstly named Te Hopua meaning - a large pond, and then it was changed to Te Hapua meaning - a depot.    

About me

For reading, I have made a little slideshow with some things about me. I am interested in, sports, the outdoors, farming, and motorbike riding.

Garden meme

In class, we have been working on making a garden meme for reding. The words we used had to be related to gardens and we had to come up with the memes ourselves. My favorite part was coming up with the meme.

Garden quote

In class, we have been working on making a quote about gardens. I found coming up with the start was the easiest part, but the most challenging part for me was coming up with the ending.
 

Book review

In class, we have been making a book review slide for a book we have read. My favorite part was answering the questions and the part I found most hard was making a character web.

Plastics

This term we created a slide show about plastics. We had a tic tac toe sheet and we had to fill in the boxes with a fact from a book, we had to do three books. What are your thoughts on plastic?
My favorite part was making the backgrounds and the hardest part was having to find all the facts of every book.

My 10 favorite books

As part of Book Week last week, we had summarised our 10 favorite books to read. For each book, we had to write down what the book was about, who the author is and who illustrated it. I enjoyed doing the theme for every slide and the most challenging part was to summarise each book. What books do you enjoy reading?
